About Robert Finch
Do you feel like your soul needs healing? Counselling is very much about healing of the emotions - past hurts, abuse, anxiety, fear etc. as well as getting insight and understanding into our issues and problems.At the end of the process, you should be more ’real’ and happy in your own skin.
I am a fully qualified and registered counselor. I work from a person centred perspective, this means I believe you are the expert about yourself and my role is to enable you to successfully work through your issues. I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. The counselling role is important to me and it gives me great fulfillment to see people move on in their lives in a happier, healthier way.
I have gained a lot of experience working with adults who were abused as children as well as with more general counselling.
I qualified in 2002 and have been in private practice since 2007. I am fully accredited by the BACP.
I understand that approaching a counselor for the first time can be difficult or daunting. I can guarantee that you will be treated with care and I will provide a safe and comfortable environment for counselling. Please do give me a call and we can discuss how I can help you.
